I gems! I had the best girls staycation at the Park Hyatt in the West End area of Washington DC. We had the best time, but the brunch...it was the most! Typically this restaurant takes reservations, but since we were hotel guests for the weekend we decided to dine in at the Blue Duck Tavern for their Sunday brunch buffet and we were not disappointed.

Our brunch buffet eats consisted of smoked salmon, roasted wild mushrooms with garlic confit and sherry parsley, white corn grits with fiscalini cheese, spinach and gruyere cheese quiche, chicken sausage, citrus and heirloom tomato carpaccio and Pecan sticky Buns. These are just the items that we were able to enjoy.  

There were many other delicious morsels on the beautiful marble bar, located steps away from the actual kitchen.
